Lakewood Ranch covers roughly 35,000 acres across Manatee and Sarasota counties, and it keeps growing. Summerfield was finished in 1995; newer villages like Country Club East, Esplanade, Lake Club and Polo Run are still adding homes. Most garages here are newer, often larger than average, and many hold golf carts as well as cars.
Newer slabs still need diamond grinding to remove curing compounds, and every floor gets a moisture check. We then build a thick epoxy base with flake and a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat, or a metallic finish for bonus rooms and car garages. See flake vs. metallic to compare looks.

Commercial →Most Lakewood Ranch neighborhoods have an HOA and architectural review. An interior garage floor usually doesn't need approval, but visible work such as driveways or front entries may. Many communities also set contractor hours and parking rules. We bring dust-collection grinders and schedule around your community's rules.
Carts, e-bikes and extra refrigerators are common here. We add texture where carts turn and park and use chemical-resistant topcoats near charging areas. Larger garages are still usually done in 1 to 2 days.
If your home is new, the slab typically needs about 28 days to cure before coating. Many owners book right after closing, before the garage fills up. The Parrish new-construction guide covers why grinding matters on new slabs.
